Christian Campos

Los Angeles native Christian Campos currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Dover Management Corporation. Overseeing a portfolio of nearly 100 properties and more than 1,500 units, he leads a dynamic thirty-person team.

Prior to his role as COO, Campos was the primary asset manager for Dover, managing both commercial and multi-family properties. His astute coordination of financial, operational, and administrative functions has been pivotal in optimizing asset performance. He also played a key role in asset acquisition and disposition, as well as financing.

Before rising to executive leadership, Campos honed his skills as a property supervisor, where he ensured seamless operations across multiple properties. His adeptness at conducting thorough inspections, managing maintenance teams, and navigating leasing strategies has cemented his reputation for maintaining excellent tenant, vendor, and owner relations.

Campos is a graduate of DePauw University and the University of Southern California. He is a licensed real estate broker (DRE #: 02093873).

Norma A. Castillo is an accomplished real estate professional with over a decade of hands-on, ground-up experience in commercial property management and property accounting. She has served institutional clients at renowned firms such as Avison Young and CBRE, developing expertise in various aspects of commercial property management and with a strong background in financial management, operations oversight, tenant relations, budgeting, forecasting, redevelopment, and lease administration. Norma is the founder and CEO of Castillo CRE Solutions, specializing in property management, property accounting, and lease management.

Norma’s exceptional performance at CBRE has earned her prestigious accolades, such as Assistant Real Estate Manager of the Year in 2019 and Associate Real Estate Manager of the Year in 2021. Additionally, the City of Los Angeles recognized her outstanding work during the COVID-19 pandemic with a Certificate of Appreciation.

Norma holds a Foundations of Real Estate Certificate from the Urban Land Institute and an A.S. in Humanities from East Los Angeles College. Norma is also a licensed California Real Estate Salesperson.

Beyond her professional achievements, Norma is dedicated to giving back to the community through active volunteerism. She currently serves as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Real Estate Association for Latinx Professionals (REa-L) and previously co-chaired the Security and Emergency Preparedness Committee for BOMA, Greater Los Angeles.

In her personal life, Norma enjoys hiking, practicing yoga, and creative writing. She resides in South Los Angeles.

Kenya Croom

Kenya Croom is a mother of three, an entrepreneur, and the Chief Executive Officer of A Step to Freedom. Influenced by the generous spirit of her father and grandparents, Kenya has dedicated her life and career towards the betterment of family and community, with a deep interest in building wealth within the Black community.

“I see the people in South LA as my people and my family. Everyone should have access to not only the basics of food, housing, and a career, but the simple pleasures of life too, good food, travel, and rest.” 

Under Kenya’s strategic leadership, A Step to Freedom has expanded its programs and services, serving 289 people annually, with a budget of nearly $4 million, and has contracts with the Department of Health Services Office of Diversion and Reentry (ODR) and The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) to provide interim housing and supportive services to people experiencing homelessness and justice-involved. With a background in executive management leadership, Kenya understands the critical importance of developing a capable and committed team and recognizes the deep value of hiring people with lived experience. 

Kenya participates in several volunteer advocacy roles including membership in the Los Angeles African American Women in Public Policy Institute and the Social Action Chair of the Inglewood Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. She was recently nominated by her peers to serve on the Equity Diversity Inclusion and Anti-Racism Sub-committee at the Department of Health Services in Los Angeles County. In 2019, Kenya was recognized for her advocacy efforts for the Los Angeles community and awarded the Empowerment Congress Civic Leaders 40 Under 40 Award. 

Kenya recently founded Reshape the Nation and is mentoring and educating a coalition of housing providers with integrity who are focused on providing housing and addressing poverty in major cities throughout the United States.

Austin Curry is an entrepreneur in the commercial real estate and small business development space. Under the banners of his advisory firm and nonprofit entities, he offers technical assistance to small business owners, develops and implements coursework with strategic economic development partners, and freelances with development firms on equitable and inclusive real estate development projects.

Prior to these endeavors, he worked as a development lead for Akin Development Group. Prior to that, he managed a multifamily syndications firm pursuing deals in Atlanta, GA. His relevant technical skills include financial modeling, deal structuring, project management, and transaction management. He received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2012 from Washington University in St. Louis. Austin lives in Los Angeles, CA.

Priscilla's passion for real estate began at a very young age while attending and working at her parents' real estate office. Her unique career path was influenced heavily by her academic background, holding a BS in Behavioral Neuroscience from UCLA and a Master’s in Public Health with an emphasis in Urban Health Disparities from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine & Science. It was during her MPH studies that Priscilla recognized the critical impact of real estate on community well-being, leading her back to the field with a renewed focus on social impact through housing.

Priscilla is known for her ability to navigate complex market conditions and her expertise in property rehabilitation. Her work not only revitalizes properties but also supports the communities in which they are located, fostering development that benefits residents and investors alike.

Looking ahead, Priscilla is focused on expanding her company’s development arm, aiming to further her impact on affordable housing in the region. In the last couple of years, She had opportunities to work with real estate investors where she was responsible for conducting market research, underwriting properties across the multifamily, retail, and industrial sectors, and preparing offering memorandums and presentations. These experiences taught her valuable skills, including analyzing property financial statements, conducting due diligence, and building equity waterfall models.
 
Julia has been working in financial analysis, acquisitions and property management roles in Las Vegas and Southern California. At Evernest Realty Las Vegas, She was the managing broker, which equipped her with a comprehensive knowledge of the real estate sales, transactions, development process, personnel management, due diligence, and compliance. As the leader of The Julia Feng Group, Julia closes over 100 transactions a year, ranking Top 1% Realtors in the Greater Las Vegas Area. She holds numerous real estate designations, including Negotiation Expert, Certified Seller Representative Specialist, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, among others. Julia Feng has been nominated for Top Agent Magazine and as a featured agent for American Dream TV Show. At Colliers Brentwood, California, Julia works with the most influential professionals in the mult-family sector.
  
Julia Feng is a member of certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), a member of Asian American Hotel Owners Association (AAHOA), and a member of Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP). Daniel Guzman

Daniel Guzman photo

Daniel Guzman, a newcomer to the field of Real Estate Development, is an Assistant Project Manager at CRCD Partners LLC. In his role, Daniel contributes to the Real Estate Development team by assisting where needed. As a result, he has had the opportunity to learn about the lengthy process of development. More specifically, Daniel has assisted with the preparation of funding applications for several prospective Affordable and Supportive Housing developments. He has experience applying to funding sources at the county, state, and federal level. Although early in his Real Estate career, Daniel continues to develop the knowledge and passion to succeed in developing Affordable and Supportive Housing.  

Before becoming an Assistant Project Manager at CRCD Partners, Daniel applied for the LISC Americorps program to explore an interest in community development that arose from his time spent in education. Daniel learned that education was just one aspect of community development, and it often came second to housing security. The LISC program assigned Daniel to CRCD Partners where he worked under the guidance of several Project Managers to execute tasks across the development process such as funding applications, draw requests, site visits, and more. Additionally, the LISC program provided weekly Affordable Housing trainings to coincide with the hands-on experience at CRCD Partners. 

Daniel Guzman is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minor in Philosophy. He is also a graduate of the LISC Americorps program after participating in a 3.5-month long internship where he assisted with advancing the prospective construction of at least 112 affordable housing units. 

As a native of Los Angeles, he has a personal stake in advancing housing security for the city. Daniel Guzman was born in Los Angeles where he currently resides.

With a foundation laid at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, where he pursued urbanization and housing studies, Simon has honed a unique perspective on creating livable, sustainable communities through design and policy.

In 2024, he embarked on a new venture, founding Simon Ha Housing Solutions (SHHS), with the aim to address the housing crisis through innovative design, development, and policy solutions. This initiative underscores his dedication to making high-quality, attainable housing accessible to all, especially in response to the challenges faced in California. SHHS's vision is deeply rooted in advancing housing design and the living experience for communities, emphasizing the integration of creative design, construction techniques, and progressive housing policies.

Simon's career trajectory reflects his passion for impacting urban spaces and communities. Prior to founding SHHS, his roles included Managing Partner and Urban Mixed-Use Practice Leader at Steinberg Hart, where he led the firm in becoming a key player in multi-family and hospitality design in Los Angeles. His leadership and design excellence have been instrumental in navigating complex development processes, securing entitlements for significant projects, and achieving recognition for outstanding designs.

Deeply embedded in the fabric of Downtown LA's community, Simon has served in pivotal roles that demonstrate his commitment to urban development and housing advocacy. These include chairing the Planning and Land Use Committee for the Downtown LA Neighborhood Council, leading the National AIA Housing and Community Development Committee, and serving as the Board Chairman for the Skid Row Housing Trust. His involvement extends to contributions on the Zoning Advisory Committee for the LA Department of City Planning and participation in other community initiatives.

Eugene Kirk II, PE, QSD is a seasoned Construction Manager and civil engineer at, KDG Construction Consulting, with a rich background spanning over a decade plus of experience specializing in heavy civil projects.  His expertise spans across various sectors including rail, aviation, roadway, and port waterway projects.   

Prior to his current role, Eugene served as a Project Manager/Estimator at Sully-Miller Contracting Company, where he successfully led pursuits and managed complexed projects across the United States from Alaska to South Carolina to Los Angeles.  

Eugene holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Howard University and is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of California since 2018.  

Beginning his career in civil engineering, Eugene gained invaluable experience working on transportation infrastructure project, honing his project management skills and stakeholder coordination which led to his interest in real estate development.  Eugene leveraged his background in civil engineering to create innovative and functional solutions for various clients through his LLC Vision II Reality that he has operated simultaneously for the past 4 years.  While his expertise initially focused on heavy civil projects Eugene has since broadened his scope to include diverse real estate project across Tennessee and Los Angeles. 

Eugene believes involvement with the Ross Program will equip him with the necessary skills to pursue various real estate development projects locally and nationally to help empower communities to be revitalized in lieu of gentrified.  Eugene currently resides in Long Beach, CA.

Drew is a registered architect and educator, born, raised, and currently practicing in Los Angeles. He is an Adjunct Professor at Cal Poly Pomona where he teaches design studios.

Drew’s professional background includes significant experience with adaptive reuse of historic and existing buildings, while his educational concentration was in urban design and housing strategies.

As Senior Architect at Office Of:, Drew helps lead the organization's Housing Here program, guiding pre-development work for large scale affordable housing projects. His strategic while open and collaborative approach underpins his dedication and commitment to community-driven projects that center equity.

His current academic research centers around architectures of alternative housing tenure arrangements, a topic he explored as the ‘21 recipient of the Cavin Family Traveling Fellowship.

He has been actively involved in the real estate sector the past year, focusing on commercial real estate underwriting and value add strategy. Rafael is a member of the Glendale Association of Realtors, further enhancing his expertise in the sales and negotiating side of real estate.

Rafael holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management and minor in Finance from California State University, Los Angeles. He is dedicated to ongoing professional development and has sought out various opportunities in the commercial real estate sector.

Alec Olivieri works for his family's Commercial Real Estate business, Olivieri Commercial Group, in Bakersfield, CA, that is still running strong after 40 years in the industry. In the company, Alec works directly with his father (Anthony Olivieri, Principal) on Commercial Development Projects as a Project Manager for BOMAR Partners, which a subsidiary company to Olivieri Commercial Group.

For the past 8 years, Alec has helped BOMAR with the project management side of development, specifically in Construction Management, Entitlements, and working closely with Architects and Engineers on the design of the projects.

Alec received his BM (Bachelor of Music) from Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA and is a regular attendee at the Westerly ICSC Conferences.

Currently, Alec is working on the development of a 28 acre retail shopping center in Bakersfield, CA along with multiple Build-to-Suite developments for National Tenants.  After the Ross Program, Alec hopes to learn more of the underwriting process and how to generate/understand in depth proformas.

Max A. Ordonez is the owner of imm management, a boutique program and project management firm serving public and private sector projects in the fields of economic development, job creation, small business working capital and owner-occupied real estate finance.  Mr. Ordonez has over 25 years creating and executing strategic financial, marketing, and operational plans, which are even more important in this dollar-sensitive economy.  Prior to working on private-public sector projects, Mr. Ordonez was a Senior Manager of a local school district with a budget of over $280MM and construction budget of over $200MM. He has over eight (8) years of experience in public accounting and is a Deloitte alum.

Mr. Ordonez has obtained a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration from Cal State University, Los Angeles and completed two years at the University of Southern California.

Through his project experience, he earned a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from Babson College and a Construction Management Certificate from Turner Construction School Construction Management.

In 2018, Mr. Ordonez was awarded “America’s Small Development Center State Star” by the Small Business Administration (SBA) 

His current professional ambition is to strategically reorganize imm management into two separate divisions: a Project Management company name Clear Water Consulting and a finance-focused company, Morgan Maxwell Advisors.  The Ross Program is critical to achieve this structure with clear branding and expert focused services.

Max has a long history of community service including current Board Chairperson of Rio Hondo College Foundation (RHCF), Board Member of Whittier Union High School District Foundation (WUHSDF), former Board Member of the Southern California Certified Development Corporation (SoCal CDC) – a Small Business Administration (SBA) Lender and former
Board Member & Treasurer of the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (CHCC).

Lastly, Mr. Ordonez resides in East Whittier, CA and is a member of Candlewood Country Club.  Mr. Ordonez has two sons, Ian Maxwell Ordonez, who works for Governor Newsom in Sacramento, and Morgan Maxwell Ordonez, who is completing the 11th grade.

Cecilia Recendez is the President of YASS-Built, a pioneering Architecture and Construction Administration Consulting Services firm, in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California.

Cecilia was a project manager at Bynum & Associates, a General Contracting and Construction Management firm. Prior to this, she honed expertise during a 15-year tenure at GMPA architects, where she played a key role in the development of numerous impactful projects such as Multifamily Residential structures, a memory care facility, and a significant non-profit endeavor. Since immersing herself in the field of Architecture in 1998.

Noteworthy among Cecilia's portfolio are her contributions to several monumental building projects in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. Her responsibilities included overseeing the creation of shop drawings, collaborating on master planning initiatives with renowned architect Marc Appleton, and excelling in construction administration and management. Some of the iconic projects she has been instrumental in bringing to life include the San Ysidro Ranch cottages in Santa Barbara, The Vue residential tower in old town San Pedro, Beit T’Shuvah addiction recovery center expansion in Los Angeles, Palisades Memory Care Facility in Pacific Palisades, and Riverglen-II residential building along the 5-freeway in Los Angeles.

Cecilia combines her formal education at Woodbury University Architectural program with a wealth of 24 years of practical work experience. Despite her demanding professional commitments, Cecilia remains deeply devoted to her family life, sharing joyous moments and creating lasting memories with her beloved 17-year-old son, Adriel.

His professional journey began at Keller-Williams of Inglewood, laying a solid foundation for his flourishing career in the real estate industry. Further enhancing his professional credentials, he is an active member of the Los Angeles Southwest Association of Realtors and the Consolidated Board of Realtist.

Having earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a minor in Economics from California State University, Dominguez Hills, his academic achievements have not only broadened his 
understanding of societal structures, but have also enhanced his business acumen. As a Los Angeles native, Devan has a keen understanding of the local real estate landscape and this background has enabled him to provide well-rounded insight to his clients.
