Biography

Anita Paryani-Rice was previously an Executive Managing Director based in Newmark’s Century City and Newport Beach offices who specializes in the origination of a full range of debt and structured finance products for multifamily, office, retail, hotel, industrial and other commercial assets nationwide, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, CMBS, Life Company, Bank, Mezzanine and Bridge/Debt Fund Loan executions.

Paryani-Rice has more than 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry specializing in the placement of debt and equity transactions throughout the United States, having placed more than $5 billion in transactions for an array of property types including multifamily, retail, industrial, office and hotel. Prior to joining Newmark, most recently Paryani-Rice was with Institutional Property Advisors. Before that, she spent time at HFF and Lincoln Property Company. She has been honored with numerous awards including "Rainmaker" by Real Estate Forum, Bisnow's Power Women and "Women of Influence" by LA Biz Journal.

Paryani-Rice is actively involved with USC as part of the USC Lusk Center Executive Center, USC Associates and Cardinal and Gold. She also serves on the board for the Progressive Osseous Heteroplasia Association, which serves to find a cure for a rare bone disease her son is afflicted with.
