Mr. Laurie joined The Olson Company in 2007 and oversees the organization’s administrative and operating groups including strategic planning, acquisition, finance, construction, legal, and human resources. Olson is one of the largest private builders in California with a primary focus on affordable, transit-oriented, urban, infill housing in partnership with cities and municipalities. The Olson Company is ranked as one of the nation’s leading homebuilders for overall buyer satisfaction, construction quality and sales process according to Eliant Survey Systems.
Mr. Laurie started in the homebuilding industry in 1996, and he was previously with KB Home for 9 years, holding various Executive positions at both the Corporate and Division levels, as well as Inland Valley President.
A native of Southern California and resident of Santa Monica, Mr. Laurie earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern California in Urban Planning and Development.
