CBRE hired John Prevas as a VP in the West Los Angeles office. Prevas is joining the Advisory practice and will work alongside first VP Marty Barkan to provide comprehensive real estate solutions tailored to the unique needs of occupiers and property owners. With more than a decade of experience in commercial real estate including tenant representation, investment sales, and debt and structured finance, Prevas most recently served as VP with Stone-Miller Commercial Real Estate, where he oversaw commercial transactions for companies across office, retail, and industrial sectors throughout Southern California and nationally for multi-market corporations.
Andrea Reeder has rejoined Sunset Development as SVP of leasing for Bishop Ranch. She will lead the team’s leasing efforts and will be focused on business development, strategy and execution for Bishop Ranch’s office portfolio. Reeder began her leasing career at Bishop Ranch before becoming a leasing broker at CBRE San Francisco. She was Director of Asset Management at Nuveen Real Estate, focused on the Bay Area and Seattle office portfolio. Most recently, she was SVP of asset management at Beacon Capital Partners, managing a portfolio of Bay Area assets.
San Francisco-based real estate investment firm Hamilton Zanze said that Jay Snover has been promoted to managing director of affiliate Graham Street Realty. Snover previously served as the company’s senior director. Snover will continue to guide acquisition strategy, oversee capital formation and source deals for Graham Street Realty, which owns and operates commercial offices and multi-tenanted industrial properties. In his new role, Snover will oversee the portfolio management of the company’s extensive holdings in California, Colorado, Washington, and Arizona, working directly with asset managers.
JLL Capital Markets announced the return of Kevin Sheehan as managing director in the Los Angeles office. In his new role, Sheehan will be responsible for institutional multifamily investment sale advisory and equity placement within Greater Los Angeles. Before rejoining JLL, Sheehan was responsible for multifamily investments in Southern California and nationally for a leading living developer. Throughout his career, Sheehan has been involved in the disposition, acquisition and capitalization of approximately $3 billion of multifamily transactions.
The USC Lusk Center for Real Estate’s Ross Program announced 18 new graduates for their 2024 winter session. Launched in 1993, the Ross Program equips professionals with advanced real estate fundamentals in affordable housing, office, retail and mixed-used spaces; and enables members of underrepresented groups as well as those that invest resources in emerging communities to further their careers. GreenLake Asset Management, a nationwide leader specializing in providing short-term commercial real estate bridge loans, said Phil Sohhas joined the firm as a managing director. Soh will focus on new credit originations spanning the commercial real estate market. He brings to GreenLake more than two decades of experience in management, credit administration, underwriting and sales, most recently serving as an EVP and deputy chief credit officer at Banc of California.
