James Marzouk is a Senior Associate on the Investments team at CIM Group, a Los Angeles-based private equity firm with $30+ billion in assets under management (AUM). James plays a pivotal role in evaluating, executing, and managing equity and debt investment opportunities across asset classes and geographies in the United States.
Prior to CIM Group, James was a member of the acquisitions team at Vivo Investments, specializing in distressed hotel-to-multifamily adaptive reuse, capitalizing on the market dislocation that arose from the COVID-19 pandemic. Throughout his career, James has been involved in over $1 billion worth of transaction volume.
In addition to his professional roles, James serves as a board member for both United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom. He is also a member of the US Green Building Council.
James is a graduate of Beverly Hills High School and the University of Southern California, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate Development with a minor in Finance.
