
Christine Kang is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Clarion Partners where she is responsible for implementing strategic initiatives and overseeing asset management, transactions, and investor communications. Christine joined Clarion Partners in 2017 based in the Los Angeles office and has been working in the real estate industry for over 20 years.
Christine serves as a member of the Clarion Partners’ Investment Committee, CP’s Women’s Leadership Network Steering Committee, CP’s ESG Committee, and Franklin Templeton’s Asian Pacific Islander Business Resource Group. She is also a member of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) on its Environmental Committee, the Urban Land Institute Los Angeles Capital Markets Council, and a formal mentor for ULI’s Young Leadership Group.
Prior to Clarion Partners, Christine spent eleven years at JP Morgan Asset Management in the Global Real Assets group. Earlier in her career, she worked at Lehman Brothers Investment Bank in the Mergers & Acquisitions group in New York City and then at Meridien Partners in Seoul, South Korea, focused on advisory work for commercial real estate transactions. Christine received a B.A. in Economics and English Literature from Wellesley College and a Master of Science in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
