Alan Greenspan, the chief of the Federal Reserve, is set to retire this January. During his 18-year stewardship of the U.S. economy, Greenspan has won praise for having deftly led the country through several financial crises. However, some warn that if the so-called housing bubble bursts, Greenspan’s legacy could be adversely impacted. Kitty talks with Stuart Gabriel, Director and Chair of University of Southern California Lusk Center for Real Estate, and Leslie Appleton-Young, Vice President and Chief economist for the California Association of Realtors.
