As President of DJM Capital Partners, Inc., Lindsay Parton is responsible for directing property acquisitions and supervising all construction and development activities. From project inception through completion, he leads a highly skilled and specialized staff responsible for all entitlements, governmental and community relations, architectural and land planning, construction management, marketing and positioning of development and redevelopment properties. Notable projects have included Bella Terra, Huntington Beach, Pacific City, Huntington Beach, Lido Marina Village Newport Beach, Ovation Hollywood, Hollywood California.
He is founder and chairman of Parton & Edwards Construction, a successful Santa Barbara based company that has, since 1980, developed a broad range of residential and commercial properties as a developer and as a General Building Contractor throughout California, as well as institutional and public works projects in excess of two billion. With an entrepreneurial background and a strong commitment to the philosophies of responsible, smart growth and sensitivity to consumers’ ever-changing preferences and tastes, Parton possesses a mastery of all phases of the development process in the highly competitive Southern California real estate environment.
Parton lives in Santa Barbara with his wife, where his passions include surfing, tennis and spending time with his sons and 9 grandchildren. He is involved with numerous service and community organizations, including the Young Life Board and the Westmont Men’s Baseball and Tennis teams. He holds a B.A. in economics from Westmont College in Santa Barbara.
