Clare De Briere leads the Los Angeles region of Skanska USA Commercial Development, which delivers customer-focused, highly sustainable office, mixed-use and multi-family properties across the United States. In her current role, Clare has been responsible for leading the company’s commercial development entry into Los Angeles, which includes land acquisitions, the development and design of new projects, tenant leasing strategy and execution of future projects.
De Briere serves on the Urban Land Institute’s (“ULI”) Americas’ Executive Committee, the immediate past Chair of their Human Capital Committee, and currently serves on the Governance Committee for ULI’s Los Angeles District Council, of which she is a past Chair and is a Global Governing Trustee. In 2020, De Briere was named to Globe St. Forum’s annual Women of Influence list and in 2021, LA Business Journal’s LA500 list of the most influential leaders and impactful executives in Los Angeles. She also sits on the advisory board for the UCLA Department of History and the UCLA Ziman Board. In addition, De Briere is a long time member of the Central City Association of which she currently sits on the Executive Committee.
De Briere holds a Masters of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree from UCLA.
