California Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis is slated to be the featured keynote speaker for the USC Casden 2020 State of the Market: Multifamily Forecast, hosted by the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate. The virtual conference is set to take place on Thursday, Nov. 12 and is the first of a two-event approach for unveiling the Casden Multifamily Forecast.
Industry experts from Related California, Green Street Advisors, the Lusk Center, Jamison Realty, and other leaders will be featured in a panel discussion to explore the realities of the COVID-19 multifamily marketplace. They will review topics such as the amount of rent being collected, how tenants are paying for it, and ballot measures such as Proposition 15 and 21.
The new approach that the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate is taking for this conference follows the U.S. economy’s largest one-quarter contraction and the largest stimulus/relief package ever created. The second part of the virtual event will follow in the spring.
The USC Casden 2020 State of the Market: Multifamily event starts at 8:30 a.m. and runs to 12:30 p.m. PST.
