In a match of brain over brawn, each team will present what it believes to be the highest and best use for phase II of the Metro Studio @ Lankershim project. Thomas Properties Group Inc. has proposed the development of Metro Studio @ Lankershim comprised of television studios, production space, office and project-serving retail – at the Universal Metro Red Line station.
Phase I will house NBC Universal's West Coast News Headquarters bringing together world-class news gathering, broadcasting, editing and production facilities for all network and local news operations. A specific use has not been determined for Phase II. Possible uses could include office, production, residential, hotel, and limited project-serving retail. What will the student teams propose for this exciting location?
