Throughout his career, Stan Ross has provided skill, ingenuity, creativity, and foresight to the business of real estate development and investment. His leadership at Ernst & Young LLP, E&Y Kenneth Leventhal Real Estate Group, the Irvine Company, Resolution Trust Corporation, and the Auditing Standard Board of the American Institute of CPAs has made him an invaluable resource to academia, particularly due to his expertise in mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations, and the development of creative financial structures.
A longtime friend of USC, Mr. Ross has played a pivotal role in the ascent of the USC Lusk Center for Real Estate to a leading academic center for the industry. He has generously given his time, expertise, and heart to USC, the Lusk Center, and hundreds of students. His exemplary leadership has benefited every facet of the university’s real estate programs and his tremendous commitment has affected everyone associated with the Lusk Center. Indeed, the Ross name has become synonymous with professional real estate programs at USC.
In 2003, Mr. Ross and his wife, Marilyn, made a generous naming gift to expand the program and help the next generation of real estate professionals. Thanks to their gift, the Ross Program in Real Estate reaches more students than ever, providing them with the real estate development and investment training necessary to contribute to their communities’ quality and prosperity.
