Pam Swidler is the Global Head of Real Estate Transactions & Special Counsel at The We Company where she joined in 2016. Prior to joining she was a real estate associate at Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel, where she started as a summer associated and joined full time after graduating from law school.
At The We Company, Pam manages the company’s global team of real estate lawyers responsible for negotiating lease agreements and other real estate deals around the world. WeWork is now the largest private tenant in Manhattan and London, and has more than 450 open locations worldwide, spread among over 100 cities and 27 countries. Prior to that, she spent a year as Regional General Counsel for the Americas, where she worked with the regional teams on real estate, growth and other corporate matters.
At Kramer Levin her practice covered a wide range of commercial real estate transactional matters, including the acquisition, disposition, financing and development of various property types around the country, and represented developers in the formation and disposition of complex mixed use-condominium projects.
Pam received her JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2007, where she was Senior Articles Editor of the Cardozo Law Review and a Deans Distinguished Scholar, and her BA in 2004 from Tufts University in Quantitative Economics in 2004. She is admitted to practice in New York.
