Alan Greenspan, the chief of the Federal Reserve, is set to retire this January. During his 18-year stewardship of the U.S. economy, Greenspan has won praise for having deftly led the country through several financial crises. However, some warn that if the so-called housing bubble bursts, Greenspan’s legacy could be adversely impacted.
