Consistent with the USC Ross Minority Program objectives, which offers an integrated, practical curriculum that focuses on a wide range of issues associated with real estate finance and development, the Ross Forest City Fellowship is a 8-10 week internship that exposes the fellow to a variety of aspects of the real estate industry including due diligence, financial feasibility, site planning, development pursuit response (RFQs), etc. The fellow will have the opportunity to spend time with executives in each department including commercial, residential, leasing and finance over the duration of the assignment.

Jonathan Chew was most recently an investment banker at Credit Suisse in their Los Angeles office, where he worked on about $700 million of transactions across Mergers & Acquisitions, Leveraged Finance, Structured Products and Restructurings. Prior to Credit Suisse, he worked as a strategy consultant at Mars & Company, serving Fortune 100 companies and international conglomerates. Jon is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, where he is the Young Leaders Group Treasurer and a member of the Programs Subcommittee. He has also co-authored an article for ULI's newsletter, titled "Pre-Foreclosure Workouts." Jon earned a B.A. with a double major in Economics and Psychology at Cornell University and obtained his M.B.A. from UCLA Anderson School of Management. He is a licensed real estate broker in California and is also a licensed Series 7 securities broker.
