Al is the founder and Chairman of Borstein Enterprises. He has over 50 years of experience in real estate development. Prior to the formation of Borstein Enterprises, W&B Builders (a venture between Ray Watt and Alan Borstein) developed and constructed approximately 2,500 homes and condominiums from 1972 through 1979. Alan Borstein was also the President of Boise Cascade Building Company from 1969 through 1972 and was responsible for the sale and development of 7,000 single family homes and condominium residences, 3,000,000 square feet of industrial space and 40 mobile home parks. Alan is a founding member of the MIT Center for Real Estate Development and is a board member of the USC Lusk Center and the Borstein Family Foundation. Alan received his Bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard University.
