Shawn Hansen is a Senior Managing Director for Greystar Investment Management. He and his team are responsible for acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management throughout the Western US, which currently encompasses over $7 billion in multi-housing assets. Market coverage includes Southern California, Northern California, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Salt Lake City. In addition to leading the Western region, Shawn also oversees Greystar’s active adult investment efforts nationally and serves on the firm’s US Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Greystar in 2011, Shawn worked at Moran & Company, where he focused on the sale of institutional-quality apartment communities throughout the Western United States. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and alumnus of the University of Southern California.
