The words “General Contractor” conjures the image of a middle-aged man wearing jeans and boots wearing a hardhat, reviewing plans in the bed of his pickup truck on a job site. Enter Ms. Lauryn Burnett: who owns M3 Services. M3 Services is a full-service construction and construction management firm based in Los Angeles, CA. Ms. Burnett is a petite, soft-spoken female General Contractor who maximizes her 20+ years’ experience as a licensed real estate broker, her contractor’s license, certificates in both Construction Management and Construction Quality Management along with her B.S. in Business Finance and her MBA in International Business. Lauryn uses her comprehensive experience and finesse to win municipal, state and federal projects such as: GSA, FAA, NAVFAC, FBI, Army Reserve, Southern CA Edison, Build-LACCD, County of LA, City of El Monte, City of Hermosa Beach, CSU Los Angeles, CSU Dominquez Hills, Fannie Mae and many more. With a strong concern for her clients, she does not make major decisions out of the back of a truck. Lauryn and her team, experts on construction and estimating projects, easily manage projects by paying attention to pertinent site issues as well as budgetary concerns.
Lauryn is a member of the Board of Directors for NAMC-SC (National Assoc. of Minority Contractors, Southern California Chapter), and an alumnus of Cal State Dominguez Hills. She is also focused on giving back to the community. Lauryn takes a lot of pride in her work. The difference is in the details and the bottom line is that they have happy clients by running a smooth project from start to finish. She doesn’t just send in subcontractors –she shows up and is not afraid to get her hands dirty. Her smile and personal touch are omnipresent even when unexpected challenges surface. Obstacles are no match for Lauryn; she simply puts on her MBA hat and uses her advanced strategic problem-solving skills to formulate an innovative solution. Her vision is success and thus she continues to pursue it daily. Lauryn feels that success is a ladder that cannot be climbed with your hands in your pockets. She hopes to benefit from the Ross Program in Real Estate by adding to her network, practicing real estate development and improving the community at large.
