Erick Traschikoff Reyes is a Senior Project Manager at California Receivership Group (CRG), one of the nation’s leading health and safety receivership firms. He specializes in the rehabilitation of distressed and substandard properties across California, with experience in code compliance, project oversight, and community revitalization. Erick has worked in cities across California, including Compton, Los Angeles, Dana Point, Bakersfield, Fresno, Rancho Palos Verdes, and Needles, among many others.
Since joining CRG in 2017, Erick has managed the rehabilitation of more than forty projects, dealing with issues including unpermitted construction, fire-damage remediation, hillside stability, rampant crime, abandoned and unsecure structures, severe hoarding conditions, and—more recently—unlicensed cannabis dispensaries. He oversees the daily operations of Southern California projects, coordinating closely with contractors, city officials, attorneys, and stakeholders to correct code violations and eliminate life-safety hazards. Erick acts as the company’s “boots on the ground,” dealing directly with members of the affected communities, police departments, city officials, and occupants.
Prior to his work at CRG, Erick gained experience across multiple sectors of real estate, including property management—primarily with Section 8 units—and commercial office buildings, followed by residential real estate sales. He began his real estate career in 2007 as a teenager, door-knocking for a top brokerage firm in Mar Vista, California during the foreclosure crisis—an experience that sparked his long-term interest in real estate.
Erick completed his undergraduate studies at Santa Monica College and California State University, Los Angeles, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He joined the Ross Program to expand his knowledge in real estate finance, construction cost estimation, and development, following a surge in increasingly complex health and safety rehabilitation projects. His long-term goal is to transition into real estate development, leveraging his field experience and embracing emerging tools—such as AI-driven site selection and financial modeling—to help address California’s housing crisis, particularly in underserved and disaster-affected communities.
Erick Traschikoff resides in Huntington Park, California.
