Ari Kahan is a Principal at California Landmark Group, Head of Acquisitions, Design, Entitlement and Co-Head of Development. He also serves on the firm’s IMC (Investment and Management Committee), helping guide the company into the 21st century.
An LA native, Ari graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a BBA in Real Estate Finance. Ari began his career in real estate private equity at Fortress Investment Group, and subsequently launched the restaurant group Mainland Poke Shop, reinventing and popularizing the Hawaiian concept of Poke on a global scale, where he was recognized in “30 under 30” for the new restaurant field.
Ari has over 10 years of experience in a wide variety of real estate private equity and development transactions as both a sponsor and investor in a large array of asset classes, with a primary focus in multifamily acquisitions and development.
