With over 25 years of investment success in commercial real estate, Mr. Gozini is an accomplished businessman with a global background that includes mechanical engineering, import/export and extensive business experience in Asia (where he worked for 15 years).
After winding up his successful import/export business, Mr. Gozini transitioned into real estate, purchasing many assets from the RTC in the early 1990’s. Over the years he has gradually grown the company portfolio of 120 properties to over 10 million square feet in 17 states. BH Properties, under Mr. Gozini’s direction, is focused on the acquisition and management of value-added commercial real estate (multi-family, retail, industrial warehouse and offices).
Mr. Gozini has extensive experience in all facets of real estate industry including acquisitions, dispositions, note purchases and REO property. His strength lies in the re-positioning of distressed value added properties, patiently turning virtually value-less properties into profitable real estate assets. His initial retail strategy was to purchase vacant big boxes directly from retailers (developing relationships with Walmart) and then lease the vacancy out to multiple tenants. Over the years he expanded his vision, seeking out underperforming multi-family, industrial buildings, retail and shopping centers, closing on hundreds of deals. Mr. Gozini focuses on revitalizing these challenged properties quickly and efficiently, always seeking to be the low cost operator in a given market. This effective model has enabled BH Properties to profitably grow and, at the same time, provide benefits to the local community by turning underperforming vacant properties into assets that serve the needs of the local market.
Mr. Gozini attributes a majority of his success to his team of professionals, his key industrial relationships and his attention to detail.
