Brady Thurman is a Managing Director at Northwood Investors, a privately-held real estate investment advisor with approximately $5.0 billion of capital currently under management. Mr. Thurman joined Northwood in June 2007 and is responsible for the firm’s acquisition activities across all real estate product types in the western United States. Mr. Thurman relocated from New York to Los Angeles in January 2012 to open the company’s west coast office.
Prior to joining Northwood Investors, Mr. Thurman spent five years on the Acquisitions Team at Deutsche Bank’s Real Estate Opportunity Funds group in New York, with over $6.0 billion of assets under management when he left the group. In this capacity, Mr. Thurman was responsible for underwriting and executing real estate investment opportunities throughout the United States and South America.
Mr. Thurman received a B.S., magna cum laude, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
