Brady A. Thurman is a Senior Managing Director at Northwood Investors and is the co-head of investments for the United States. Mr. Thurman also runs Northwood’s core-plus efforts across all U.S. markets and is responsible for leading the firm’s strategy, capital raising, and portfolio management. Mr. Thurman joined Northwood in 2007 and relocated to Los Angeles in 2011 to open the firm’s west coast office, and Mr. Thurman continues to lead Northwood’s investment activities in the western United States.
Prior to joining Northwood Investors, Mr. Thurman was on the investments team at Deutsche Bank working in the RREEF Opportunity Funds group, with over $6 billion of assets under management when he left the group. In this capacity, Mr. Thurman was responsible for underwriting and executing real estate investment opportunities throughout the United States. He focused primarily on the development and acquisition of residential, office, and hospitality properties.
Mr. Thurman received a B.S., magna cum laude, from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
