Join us for the second annual State of Los Angeles County Housing and Neighborhoods convening and release of the latest SOLACHAN report on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at The California Endowment.
The comprehensive report and discussion explores the trends, challenges, and opportunities shaping housing and neighborhoods across Los Angeles County, including:
- Current trends in housing production and supply
- Renter and homeowner households
- Key characteristics of the unhoused population
Participants engage with housing practitioners, policymakers, developers, and academics in conversations about report findings and the future of housing in Los Angeles County.

The State of Los Angeles County Housing and Neighborhoods Report (SOLACHAN) highlights the longstanding structural challenges underlying the county’s housing crisis and the recent shifts intensifying them.
SOLACHAN supports cross-sector leaders in meeting the moment with actionable data and shared accountability.
Together, we can move toward a future where all Angelenos—regardless of income, race, or neighborhood—have a stable place to call home.
