Russell is the Vice President of Investments at High Tied Investments, a fully integrated family office. The company acts as both a debt and equity partner providing bridge, construction, mezzanine, and joint venture financing in addition to developing and operating its own investments. High Tied’s entrepreneurial backbone allows the company to adjust its investment strategies to evolving market conditions and merges the excellence of institutional practices with the rich heritage of a family office. Russell manages all aspects of the investment process to execute on the company’s acquisition, disposition, joint venture, financing, asset management and development strategies.
Prior to joining Hied Tied Investments, Russell spent 4 years at Hackman Capital Partners, a privately held, real estate investment and operating company. Russell was responsible for all aspects of development and asset management across Hackman Capital’s portfolio on both new and existing investments. Russell led the effort to execute business strategies including the entitlement, development, and operation of properties within the portfolio.
Prior to joining Hackman Capital Partners, Russell worked at Eastdil Secured, a global real estate investment bank that uniquely combines commercial real estate and capital markets expertise. Russell was responsible for creating detailed valuation models across all product types for equity investment sales and debt placements.
Russell graduated from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a minor in Real Estate Development from the Sol Price School of Public Policy. Outside of his professional life, Russell enjoys giving back to the community that has shaped him and is an active member of the Los Angeles Jewish Federation Real Estate and Construction Network.
